Antibiotics Sensitivity Testing of Klebsiella aerogenes resistant to Amoxicillin isolated from Sick Human Stool in Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Nigeria.

Abstract:Klebsiella aerogenes causing infection has led to global antimicrobial resistance to first-line drugs like amoxicillin, prompting ongoing research and efforts to reduce antibiotic resistance. We determined the susceptibility patterns of Klebsiella aerogenes to various antibiotics, focusing on strains resistant to amoxicillin, collected from January to July 2023. The study was designed to determine the sensitivity/resistance pattern of Klebsiella aerogene in sick humans from January to July 2023. This crosssectional study involved collecting 300 stool samples from sick patients.
