"Educational Strategies for Enhancing Women’s Participation in Hospitality and Tourism Management" in Southwest, Nigeria.

Abstract:This study examines educational strategies for enhancing women's participation in hospitality and tourism management in Southwest Nigeria.A mixed-methods technique was used to collect data from 358 respondents in three cities: Ado-Ekiti, Akure, and Ibadan. To collect complete insights, the researchers used structured surveys, personal observations, and in-depth interviews. Demographic study suggests that 29% of respondents are between the ages of 25 and 34, with 52% married. The most prevalent yearly household income levels are ₦100,001 - 150,000 and ₦200,000+ (25% each). Secondary education is the most common educational level, especially in Akure (42%). In terms of educational tactics, scholarship programs (33.5%) and mentorship initiatives (26.5%) have the highest participation percentages.
